TROUBLESHOOT EVEREST CABLE MODEM

Model reverts to DHCP when it cannot talk to the internet and will assign a 192.168.100.#.

When cable light is flashing means improper connection between model and internet.  Reprovisioning the modem may need to be performed.

Linksys router status IP Address shows the cable model IP address.  If this is a 192# then modem isn't communicating to the internet.

Disconnect the cable and router from power, wait few seconds and reconnect.  Try connections again.

Connect PC directly into cable modem and verify IP on PC is assigned to an internet address.  If assigned
