Stationed in Panama from June to December 1941.   After Pearl Harbor was bombed they took us out of the barracks and placed us down by the Canal.

The building I stayed in was the one one the left.  There was no glass in the windows, just screens.  The temperature was nice, the windows had awnings to keep the rain out.

This was called the Beer Garden, it sat up on the hill from the barracks.  I never made it up to the place so don't know if they had beer up there, but that's what they called it.
